Though the popular Nigeria singer; Davido is still celebrating his 10 years in the music industry, however, the celebration was planned to be tainted with a rumour that one of his hit songs in his latest album dubbed "A Better Time" was written by another singer named Victor AD and that Davido stole the hit song from the writer without carrying him along.



The rumour was started by a young Nigerian man who took to social media to allege that superstar singer, Davido stole his hit track, “Jowo” from from singer, Victor AD.

However, in setting the matter concerning the rumour, Victor AD denied the claims via his Twitter handle. The singer wrote:

Omo no be me write JOWO for

@davido I don’t know where all this is coming from. make una let baba celebrate him 10yrs in peace #olofofo
