On Sunday night, gospel singer Victory Gbakara was crowned the winner of Nigerian Idol Season 8.



He defeated Precious Mac to win the N100,000,000 grand prize, which includes a brand-new car and N35,000,000 in cash.

A music record deal and a video shoot are also included as part of the prize.

Victory thanked his supporters for their support and emphasized that they were instrumental in enabling him to win in a speech shortly after doing so.

He said, “I don’t know what to say. But I want to say thank you. You made this happen.
“Thank you all so much. I love you. Thank you for making my dream come true.”
