Nigeria national arrested for the second time for drug trafficking
Acting on specific information, a Task Force team has arrested Ngwuchukwu Godwin Ifeanyi (32) near Huda Park in Vanasthalipuram, India in the early hours of Saturday.
The team seized 24 grams of cocaine in his possession and subsequently the team raided his rented house at LIG colony in Vanasthalipuram.
“From his house, we seized 154 grams of cocaine,” excise superintendent K Pradeep Rao said. “About five months ago, he was arrested by Dhoolpet excise team for peddling in cocaine. Currently, he is out on bail in that case," Rap said.
The accused said that he has been selling each gram of cocaine for ₹7,500 to ₹10,000.
During the interrogation, the accused confessed to have brought the cocaine from a Bengaluru-based supplier. Godwin picked up the contraband from the supplier and reached Hyderabad in a private bus. As he was waiting to meet a prospective customer, the excise team swooped in on him.
