The All Progressives Congress, APC, has accepted the Ebeano political organization that Senator Dr.

Chimaroke Nnamani, a former governor of Enugu State, founded.

The announcement was made on Tuesday in Enugu by Chief Emmanuel Okwor, Chairman of Ebeano.

The announcement comes a day after Chimaroke, the party's leader, declared his intention to leave the Peoples Democratic Party, or PDP.

The former governor of Enugu was bemoaning his defeat to Labour Party (LP) candidate Kelvin Chukwu for the Enugu East senatorial district seat.

”The alliance with APC is to consolidate the partnership with President-Elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu to achieve good governance in the country,” Okwo said.
He further added that members of the ‘Ebeano’ political family across the country had been consulted and were in agreement with the alliance in the interest of the people.
