Elder brother sent his brother to coma because of new note
Tochukwu Ihenacho, who is in his mid-30s has viciously attacked his younger brother Philip on Saturday after he allegedly spent N5,000 new notes that he was supposed to keep safe. The incident occurred in Kubwa's Pipeline neighborhood which is part of Bwari Area Council of the FCT. Unfortunately, Philip got put into a coma by his older brother's actions.
A witness, Hassan Aliyu, told newsmen that Tochukuwu gave Philip his younger brother N5,000 new notes to keep for him. They live together. You know how difficult is to get the new notes. On Saturday, Tochukuwu requested for the money. After he was told it had been spent, he beat his younger brother to a state of unconsciousness.
Neighbours had to come to his rescue and rushed him to the hospital.”Our reporter, who was at the house where the incident happened, observed that Philip had recovered.
It is important to note that the deadline for the exchange of the old naira note has been extended to Feb 10.
