Enugu and Benue Governors Lost Senatorial Bid
The incumbent Enugu State Governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has lost his senatorial bid.
The Governor lost the Enugu North Senatorial District to the Labour Party candidate who beat him with a wide margin.
Ugwuanyi is part of the G5 governors that failed to support the governorship candidate of the party.
In th result announced by INEC, PDP scored 48,816 (Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi), while Labour Party polled LP 101,430 (Barr Okey Ezea)
In another dimension, the Benue state governor, Samuel Orton also lost his senatorial bid to the All Progressive Congress.
