Facebook users complain that their news feeds are overrun with posts from strangers who are commenting on celebrity pages.



The social network has been experiencing issues since 7:08 AM BST, according to the down detection website Downdetector.

According to data from Downdetector, more than 2,000 people in the UK have reported issues, with 77 percent of those saying the problem is with their feeds.

Facebook users flocked to Twitter to discuss the strange glitch, which the site's owner, Meta, has not yet addressed.
