I went into robbery because of my mum - Suspect
One 24-year-old suspected robber has been arrested in Delta State. The suspect named, Chinagorom Emmanuel confessed that he went into robbery to enable him to raise money and give his late mother a befitting burial.
Emmanuel who was arrested by men of Agbor Gha-Ihun Vigilante Group in Agbor, Ika South Local Government Area of the state, hails from Abia State.
He specialised in stealing phones and other valuable items in Agbor and other communities.
Speaking to newsmen, Emmanuel said he is an electrical technician but resorted to stealing to give his mother whose body is lying in the mortuary, a befitting burial as the first son.
“I enter people's shops pretending to buy an item. But I aim to steal valuable items like phones. This is my first time in Agbor, and I met my waterloo in one of my victim’s shops,” he said.
