Three people tragically lost their lives in an accident involving two motorcycles at Iponda in Osun State's Obokun Local Government Area.

The collision, which happened on Saturday at around 7 p.m., involved two motorcycles hauling a total of five people.

Three of the victims were later determined to be dead at the hospital, which was quickly rushed to by witnesses.

The two victims who are still alive are currently being treated by doctors.

The Osun Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, Henry Bernamaisia, confirmed the accident on Sunday.

He added that the collision between the two motorcycles led to the fatal outcome.
