Berbatov names three teams that could surprise people this season
Former Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov has named three Premier League teams that might surprise people this season.
According to him, they are Brighton, Aston Villa, and Newcastle United.
Berbatov claims the three clubs are not given “enough credit” and hinted they could crash into the top six.
“People don’t give enough credit to Brighton. The way they play football and pass the ball is an absolute joy to watch. Aston Villa had a good game, and let’s not forget Newcastle; they can surprise people this year as well.
“We are so accustomed to the big four and big six... Most of the time, we forget about the likes of Newcastle, Aston Villa, and Brighton.
“So we need to give them respect and be excited that other teams are building on their performances,” Berbatov told BetFair.
