Victor Osimhen, a star for Napoli, has been named by Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag as a potential Cristiano Ronaldo replacement.

Given that the Portugal captain may leave Old Trafford in January, the Dutch manager has already begun making plans for life without him.

Last summer, the Portugal international's request to leave Old Trafford was turned down.

Due to a lack of attacking options, Ten Hag, who joined the Red Devils from Ajax over the summer, wanted to keep Ronaldo.

But since the veteran's performances this season have fallen short of expectations, the Dutch coach now needs another striker.

United are committed to finding a replacement for him whether he departs or stays.

The Evening News reports that Osimhen is high on Manchester United’s list.

The Nigeria international is the top scorer in Serie A so far this season with nine goals in 13 matches.
