Everton coach Sean Dyche has revealed the secret to his side's 1-0 Premier League win over Arsenal on Saturday.
Dyche also singled out Everton star James Tarkowski for praise following his impressive display for the Toffees against Arsenal.
The 51-year-old, who recently replaced Frank Lampard as Everton’s new manager, watched as his team defeated the Premier League leaders at Goodison Park, thanks to Ryan Tarkowski’s second-half goal.
Speaking after the match, Dyche told BT Sport, “It gives us a platform to move forward." " We have crammed a lot into this week. To get a win against the top of the league, we managed to calm the game down. I want them to understand the basics of the game.
“It is all about the players, and they are the focal point for me." They’ve taken a lot this week. The minimum requirement is maximum effort, and we saw that today.
“I still believe we can improve our play." I am delighted for James Tarkowski. "I have taken great joy in the development of his career.”
