Federico Valverde, a midfielder for Real Madrid, told Casemiro, a summer signing for Manchester United, that he was sorry to see him leave Santiago Bernabeu for the Red Devils.

In August, Casemiro transferred from Real Madrid to Manchester United for a fee of £63.4 million, and Valverde has given some thought to the Brazilian's departure.

In the Real Madrid locker room, Casemiro was missed, according to Valverde.

The star from Uruguay has been on fire to start the new season, tallying four goals.

Real Madrid's Valverde was on the scoresheet in Real Madrid’s 2-1 win over Atletico Madrid at the weekend.
