Enyimba Football Club is no doubt Nigeria’s most successful club, with eight NPFL and two CAF Champions League titles.

The Aba Giants have also produced some of the best strikers to have ever graced the domestic scene in Nigeria.

Ghanaian bomber Joetex Frimpong, Emeka "Ayaya" Nwana, David Tyvkase, Chukwudi Worgu, and Sibi Gwar are some of the strikers who have terrorized defenders in the NPFL in the past.

A new man, Emeka Obioma, is about to be added to that impressive list.

Signed from local rivals the Abia Warriors at the start of the season, Obioma has impressed with his consistent scoring run in the current campaign.

The well-built striker is currently the top scorer in the Nigerian top flight with seven goals from eight games.

Obioma bagged his second brace of the season in Enyimba’s 2-0 victory against Shooting Stars in Aba on Wednesday.

More will be expected from him when Enyimba travels to unbeaten Bendel Insurance this weekend.
