Super Falcons forward Rasheedat Ajibade has been named Atletico Madrid's female player of the month for March.

The pacy forward has been instrumental to the Rojiblancos' impressive showing in the Spanish Iberdola this season.

Ajibade scored three times in four league appearances for Atletico during the month.

The 23-year-old scored twice in the club’s 2-1 win against Real Sociedad.

She was on target once in the 3-1 victory over Alhama.

Ajibade has so far registered eight league goals for Atletico Madrid this season.
