Transfer: Jorginho takes decision on leaving Arsenal amid imminent Declan Rice deal
Joao Santos, the agent for Arsenal midfielder Jorginho, has said the player wants to stay amid the impending arrival of Declan Rice from West Ham.
Jorginho only arrived at the Emirates from Chelsea in the January window.
However, his future has become the subject of speculation, with former boss Maurizio Sarri reportedly looking to sign him at Lazio.
But Santos has told Italy’s TV Play: “Jorginho is very happy with Arsenal, who have a very important championship to play; at the beginning of August there is the Community Shield.
“There is no negotiation with Lazio. I don’t know if they have the money to pay the player, but that’s not the question.”
