YAYA TOURE ACCUSES PEP OF CRUELTY
Ex Manchester city and Barcelona midfielder Yaya You're has accused Manchester city boss, Pep Guardiola of mistreatment of black players in his squad. The Ivorian midfielder was granted an interview with a French football and he bare out his mind on all he has against the Spaniard.
In his words he claimed that Pep has no tolerance for black players and he his fond of wanting players to lick his hands and those who refused will be dealt with or axed out. Yaya couldn't understand why Pep didn't play him last season even though his stats, he says, were better than others. 'It feels like he was jealous of me, he saw me as a rival... as if I was taking the limelight away from him' .
Toure who has worked under Pep Guardiola twice, in Barcelona and in Manchester city said 'Maybe us Africans aren't always treated the same by certain people. When you see the problems he (Pep) has often had with African players, everywhere he has been, I ask myself questions. He's too intelligent to be caught. He'll never admit it (not liking Africans). But the day he picks a team with five Africans in, I promise I will send him a cake!'. This was quoted from the interview which is yet to be released on Monday.
